A kid while going back from school with his father on a bicycle sees his friend going back in a big car with ice cream in his hand. "How lucky he would be" he thought, not knowing that he don't want that car or ice cream, instead he only wanted his parents time & attention. In-spite of having everything he was was not happy because at the end of the day we all know that money cannot buy happiness. He only craved for his parent's time. We usually judge others on their appearances without having any idea of what they are going through in reality.
There is no end for human desires. A person travelling on a bicycle wants a scooter. A lower middle class person wants a car & a upper middle class or rich class person desires for a BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc.
A person always compares himself to someone who is above him, he always forgets to look down. There is no need to compare your life, your belongings with others. Everyone's life moves on a different path, so be happy in what you have. Don't be jealous of other's success as they have walked through a path of boilers in order to attain that position. If you want to be on the same level then work hard & achieve it. Never look down on others as we all know that time changes just in a blink of an eye. Don't feel proud of what you have as there will always be someone who is one step ahead of you.
So, be happy & satisfied in each & every phase of your life. Even your struggling phase teaches you the most important lessons of life. A famous quote by Mahatma Gandhi says it all "Strength does not come from winning, your struggles develop your strength, when you go through hardships & decide not to surrender, that is strength". Work hard, stay focused & give your 100%, you will surely find yourself on the next level. Only keep one thing in your mind that "Your competition is not with anyone else, but it's only with YOU".
